Dr. Phillip Coker | Family Dentist in Lake City, SC

Dr. Phillip Coker is originally from the Hebron community of Cades, South Carolina. His family eventually moved to Manning, S.C. where he attended and graduated from Laurence Manning Academy in 2007.

Growing up, he enjoyed playing every sport he could but his favorite was baseball where he played for the Manning-Santee Post 68 American Legion teams and the USC Sumter Fireants. He went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biology from The University of South Carolina (but he pulls for the Tigers!) in 2010.

After college, he attended The Medical University of South Carolina where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2015. While in dental school, he had the wonderful opportunity to serve on a mission trip with Dental Community Fellowship to Cuzco, Peru where they treated patients and assisted in meeting other needs of the community.

He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florence County Dental Society.

Dr. Coker currently resides in Turbeville, S.C. with his beautiful wife Rebecca and their three boys, Cannon, Watson, and Cal. He and his family attend Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church in Turbeville where they actively serve in various ministries.

Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with family, coaching his boys in baseball, and hunting.
